FAQ's

I bought a deal, where is my voucher?

Your deal voucher is emailed to you within 1 hour of your purchase. You can also log into your account and go the the "My Deals" link and print your deal voucher from there.

How do I use my deal voucher?

Follow the directions printed on the voucher. Some deals say 'Redeem with Merchant' which means that you can print your voucher and take it directly to the location. Other deals say 'Redeem Online' which means that you can go to the specified website to redeem your purchase.

How long does my deal voucher last?

See the expiration date listed on the voucher. The deals are usually good for use between 6-12 months.

I accidentally bought two, can I get a refund for one of them?

Sure! Our handy dandy customer support assistant would be happy to help. Refund requests for unused vouchers will be granted if provided to Deal Current within 30 days after purchase with an explanation for why refund is needed. Refund requests made beyond 30 days are subject to Buddys Deals / Journal Broadcast Group approval, and will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. In some instances, Buddys Deals / Journal Broadcast Group may choose to offer credits to Customer in the amount customer paid for voucher if refund request is made more than 30 days after purchase, up to the date of expiration. Can I use a single Buddy’s Deal on multiple visits?
No. A single Buddy’s Deal voucher is good for one visit only. You will never be given store credit or change back on a voucher for use on a subsequent visit.

When is my credit card charged?
Your credit card is charged immediately when you when you click the “Purchase this Deal” button.

Can I use my Buddy’s Deal with other coupon or offers?
Buddy’s Deal voucher cannot be combined with any other offers under any circumstances.

How much should I tip when I redeem my Buddy’s Deal?
The best part about Buddy’s Deals is that it really supports local business – continue to support them by tipping on the pre-discounted bill or service. Buddy’s Deals do not cover tax or tip.

Can I buy more than on Buddy’s Deals voucher at a time?
Yes, as long as the business allows multiple purchases. The rules of the purchase will be posted on the day of sale. Many businesses allow multiple buys, but some will be restricted for one use only or first-time clients only.

Can I buy a Buddy’s Deal as a gift?
Some businesses allow you to buy, print and distribute deals to your friends. We allow users to buy multiple vouchers on the days that we offer gifting and always list the details when this option is available.

I signed up but I’m not getting my emails.
Please check you junk or spam folders. If you are not receiving emails be sure to add yourdealpuchase@dealcurrent.com, daily-email@buddysdeals.com, buddy@buddysdeals.com to your contacts so the email does not end up in your spam or junk folder. You can also click on “Add To Safe List” or “Not Junk” in your application.You should have received an activation email right after you signed up to receive emails from Buddy. This allows us to verify your email and make sure you are good to go.

I forgot my password!

If you've forgotten your password, you can reset it by doing the following:

1. Click the Log In button on the deal page or checkout page.
   a. This will open a pop-up log in window asking for email and password.
2. Enter your email address
3. Click the link at the bottom that says: “Forgot Password”
4. This will send you an email with a link to confirm your email address.
   a. Please make sure you open this link in the same browser you were viewing the deal, so that it is able to gather your correct information.
   b. If you're not sure about what browser you’re using, we suggest copying the link from your email and pasting it into your browser window where you were viewing the deal.
5. This link will open a page where you can choose a new password for your account.

Now you can log in with your new password!
